We have been going for around 85 years. The strength of a family business, in which standards and values have stayed the same down the years. But Müller has constantly adapted to the changing world around it, so we are still a growing, successful and innovative family business after all these years.
Anton Müller established Müller Transport in 1938. He started out with just one employee, and a single truck with a livestock trailer.
After the war, grandad Anton Müller was involved in all kinds of transport: from milk vans to refrigerated transport, and from covered and volume transport to frozen transport.
In the late 1990s, Müller was mainly known as a tanker carrier (we transported various liquid foodstuffs, such as cream, whey and chocolate) with over 70 tanker trucks. After a number of years, it became clear that the business should specialise in a market of this kind. Since 2001 we have followed a conscious decision to focus our activities on what is now our core business: a full service logistics service provider for conditioned foodstuffs.
Meanwhile, the third Müller generation has now taken the helm. In early 2023 Müller Fresh Food Logistics was taken over by the German family firm Dachser. A fantastic combination of two fine healthy family businesses.
